In double-key data entry, the coding specialists convert the customer needs into proportionate coding format. The work is then divided into sections and each stack of document is given a covering "Keying Specification Instruction Sheet". Two information entrance operators key-in the same data and yield the output in separate files/file names. The software electronically compares these two files. When any mismatch between the two files is found, the operators solve the errors. These two files are again electronically compared, and the corrected single file is generated. The total text in the final file is proof read for ensuring correctness. Simultaneously, all files are operated through the transition plan to change the customer particular coding to ITO basic in-house coding. All the Corrections are again verified to depart no range for mistake and the ideal data file is generated.
